As we begin the 2026–2027 rodeo season, we are excited for what lies ahead and the continued growth of the Alaska High School Rodeo Association.

We are a 100% volunteer-run, nonprofit organization committed to promoting higher education, leadership, community involvement, and sportsmanship through the sport of rodeo. Our mission is to support and develop Alaska’s youth—both in and out of the arena.

This past season has been one of incredible growth and momentum:

• Thousands of dollars in scholarships awarded to our student athletes

• Investment in new practice equipment, allowing for expanded year-round training opportunities

• More than a dozen athletes representing Alaska at the National High School and JR High Rodeo Finals

• A growing membership base, with increased participation across multiple events
